Peter Weber
Peter Weber was born in Bismarckhütte, Oberschlesien in 1942. He is a self-educated person and has been painting since his early childhood. Since 1980 his works have become well-known to the public at numerous single exhibitions at home and abroad. Peter Weber lives and works in his atelier-gallery “Le petit Nid” in Griesheim near Offenburg; his atelier and gallery is always open to interested lovers of arts.
From 1991 till 1999 lecturer at the Dobel holiday school for painting. Since 1995 at the Academy near the Sea in Sylt. 1999 foundation and leadership of the holiday school of arts in Durbach.
He is an artist of rich colours, but also of finest brush-and style work showing the harmony of the intellectual separateness in his paintings. Although Peter Weber is a character he cannot be categorized to one of the numerous contemporary styles.
